The Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra presents Dance and Folk Music

– by Thomas Range II

THE PENNSYLVANIA CHAMBER ORCHESTRA (PCO) is the region’s leading all-professional chamber orchestra, providing artistically superb concerts and a variety of educational and community outreach opportunities under the direction of music director Gerardo Edelstein.

Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra 1

Join the Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra and Maestro Gerardo Edelstein for the opening concert of the 2025/2026 Season. Enjoy the lush sounds of Samuel Coleridge-Taylor’s Novelette No. 1 and P.I. Tchaikovsky’s Serenade for Strings, contrasted with the crisp, rhythmic Danses Concertantes by Igor Stravinsky. Don’t miss this dynamic journey through romantic lyricism and modern energy—you’ll be transported as the orchestra kicks off the season of storytelling through music and dance!
