Since 1967, the Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts has been a highlight of the summer in StateCollege. With nine days of music, theatre, dance, puppet shows, educational television shows, and even a ribbon-cutting by then Governor Raymond Shafer, that first event was unlike anything CentralPennsylvania had ever seen. The community responded enthusiastically and voila, Happy Valley’s annual miracle was born

The Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts has issued the Call for Entries for its popular juried fine art exhibition, Images 2021. Images 2021 will be an online exhibition. Work eligible for exhibition in this show includes drawings, paintings, mixed media, photography, hand-pulled prints, watercolors, fiber, paper, and digital art.
Happy Valley boasts bountiful outdoor recreation; beautiful gardens and museums, interesting history and architecture, a thriving craft beverage scene, and a variety of restaurants and farm-to-fork dining options that appeal to individuals and families.
