Crystal Workshop led by Springhill Paranormal Investigators

– by Guest Writers

The Columbus Chapel and Boal Mansion Museum in Boalsburg will host a Crystal Workshop led by Springhill Paranormal Investigators on Saturday, July 27, from 1 to 3 pm in the Boal Barn Playhouse.

Crystals

Crystals have affected the human experience throughout history, from ancient talismans and rituals to modern-day technology. The Crystal Workshop is an exciting introduction to the metaphysical properties and healing energy of crystals, gemstones, and rocks. Participants will learn how to choose the right crystals, gemstones, and rocks, how to care for them, how to appreciate their unique properties, and how to use them in our everyday lives.

The Workshop is on the grounds of the Boal Estate which includes the Boal Mansion, the Columbus Chapel, the Columbus Exhibit, and the Transportation Exhibit. The Boal Mansion tells the story of America as seen through eight generations of one family by showcasing the original furnishings, artwork, and artifacts from around the globe belonging to the original family members, as well as an impressive Armory collection from Medieval times through World War I. The Columbus Chapel features religious artifacts, paintings, and statues from the fifteenth-century Columbus Chapel in northern Spain inherited by Mathilde de Lagarde Boal, wife of Colonel Theodore Davis Boal. The Chapel and the Columbus Exhibit (nonreligious Columbus artifacts) together provide the closest link to Christopher Columbus in the nation. The Transportation Exhibit displays carriages, saddles, and items from American farm life in the 1800s and early 1900s. The Boal Estate also features the Boal Barn Playhouse and an outdoor amphitheater that host various plays, concerts, and craft fairs, and beautiful lawns and gardens that host weddings and special events. Finally, the Boal Estate grounds include several miles of well-marked, interpretive nature trails.
