Lemont Village Association Strawberry Festival, Saturday, June 8, 3:00–7:00 p.m.

Fresh strawberries, homemade cakes, Meyer Dairy Ice Cream, and art activities by the Art Alliance of Central PA, “Speeder” rides by the Bellefonte Historic Railroad and tours of the 1885 Grain Elevator and Coal Sheds. Music from 3:00-7:00 p.m.

WingFest June 13 - August 8 at Tussey Mountain

For over 20 years, WingFest at Tussey Mountain has been drawing hungry, happy crowds to the slopes on Thursdays in the summertime. Thousands come for the competition, the camaraderie and the entertainment, as up to 30 local restaurants and 14 top local and nationally touring bands participate each season.

Central PA Theatre and Dance Fest June 20-23

The Central PA Theatre and Dance Fest showcases the Centre region’s vibrant professional and pre-professional theatre, dance, and other performing arts groups through one immersive weekend each summer. The Fest invites both local residents and visitors alike to experience State College as a thriving destination for the performing arts. Enjoy groundbreaking performances from local and national artists, learn a new skill at a workshop, and take in all our community has to offer.

Year 2: IRONMAN 70.3 Pennsylvania Happy Valley June 30

Athletes will take on their race journey from a 1.2-mile swim in Foster Joseph Sayers Reservoir at Bald Eagle State Park, a scenic 56-mile bike ride through the beautiful rolling hills of Centre and Clinton Counties, culminating with a 13.1-mile run on the campus of Penn State University including a unique finish line experience for athletes inside Beaver Stadium, home to the Penn State University Nittany Lions.

Celtic Fest at Columbus Chapel and Boal Mansion July 6

Back by popular demand, the Acoustic Brew Concert Series presents Celtic Fest, a celebration of Celtic music, dance, art, crafts, and culture. Last year’s inaugural event was a smashing success, so we’re going another round to bring to Central Pennsylvania a taste of all Celtic culture has to offer.

Philipsburg Heritage Days July 10-13

Philipsburg Heritage Days was started in 1998 by a group of former committee members of the Philipsburg Bi-Centennial Committee. The organizers wanted to have an annual event that would highlight the rich historic assets of the Philipsburg community. The event is held the week following the 4Th of July and follows the schedule established by the Arts Festival in State College, PA. It was felt that by having the event at the same time as the Arts Festival, joint marketing could be done for both events to increase attendance.

Central Pennsylvania Festival of the Arts July 11-14

You’ll find some of the country’s most talented artists in a wide variety of media from ceramics to wood. Are you trying to find one an artist you bought something from–but whose name you’re forgotten? Reach out to us, we’re usually able to identify look at the work and connect you to the artist. The Sidewalk Sale and Exhibition is open from 10:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m., Thursday, July 11 through Saturday, July 13, and 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 14.

People's Choice Art Festival July 11-14, 2024 At Grange Park

Some of the original artists are still planning the festival after nearly 27 years. Though it has grown so much, our goals are the same – to be a family friendly festival, with affordable art, continuous music and yummy food. From artisans to musicians, we’re all proud Pennsylvanians.

Ag Progress Days 2024, August 13-15

Penn State’s Ag Progress Days, held annually during three days in August, is Pennsylvania’s largest outdoor agricultural exposition. With over 400 exhibitors from the United States and Canada, there is something for everyone to enjoy at no cost as parking and admission are free. The show is hosted by Penn State’s College of Agricultural Sciences and showcases educational programs, current research, and the latest innovations in agricultural equipment and technology

The Centre County Grange Fair August 16-24

The Centre County Grange Fair, affectionately known as the Grange Fair, is a delightful nine-day tenting fair held every summer at Grange Park in Centre Hall, Pennsylvania. This unique event has a rich history and is the last remaining tenting fair in the United States. For generations, local families have been attending the fair, many of them camping in the iconic canvas tents.
