Located at 650 Bigler Road, University Park, the Palmer Museum’s new site is an architectural marvel. The 73,000-square-foot LEED-certified building is set within five acres of beautifully designed landscape. Crafted by Allied Works and enhanced by the landscape expertise of Reed Hilderbrand, the museum’s sandstone pavilions, sourced from local quarries, are a testament to central Pennsylvania’s natural beauty and Penn State’s commitment to sustainability.

As visitors move through the galleries and gardens, they’ll find themselves drawn into an artistic journey where the boundaries between indoors and outdoors seem to melt away. The design encourages visitors to experience the museum as a rhythmic journey, with galleries that flow harmoniously, filled with natural light tailored to showcase the diverse collection.
