Penn State School of Music provides many Options in October
Though the weather outside has been comfortable, the Penn State School of Music is offering many opportunities for you to come inside and enjoy live music. May it be at the Pavillion Theatre, Recital Hall or Eisenhower Auditorium, there is a little something for everyone!

The Symphonic Band will present music by Peter Meehan, Dwayne Wilburn, Aaron Perrin, Randall Standridge, and Percy Grainger. This wide variety of music will take our audience on a journey through the emotions of pure joy, extreme sadness, and love.
Glee Club and the Hi-Lo's - 135th Anniversary Concert

The concert will include performances from the current Glee Club and Hi-Lo’s, as well as a combined choir of current and former Glee Clubbers and current and former members of Hi-Lo’s. This will be a fun and celebratory evening with music by Randall Thompson, Franz Biebl’s much-loved "Ave Maria," compositions and arrangements by Professor Emeritus and former Glee Club Director, Bruce Trinkley, and lots of Penn State songs.

Prize-winning concert pianist Sofya Gulyak will present a power-packed recital featuring works by Bach-Busoni, Franck, Chopin and Liszt. Gulyak is the 2024 Marian Garcia Festival and Competition guest artist. A piano recital not to be missed!

Immerse yourself in a diverse array of innovative and provocative works in our intimate recital hall. Each recital incorporates curated remarks delivered by our stellar musicology and theory faculty.
$30 General Admission
Ticket includes cocktails, light refreshments, and conversation beginning at 6:30 p.m. before each concert. Free Admission (concert only) will be offered to students with a valid student ID at the door starting at 6:30 p.m prior to each concert.
