Lemont is a charming bedroom community filled with historic homes just a few miles from State College. The Strawberry Festival in June and the Friday Evening Concerts on the Village Green outdoor series in the warmer months and the Christmas Market are great events to mix with the locals. Check out the restaurants, parks and The Granary; a historic structure (last remaining wooden grain elevator in Pennsylvania!) that is being preserved by the Lemont Village Association.
