Pick a nice sunny day or an evening where the sunset is glowing across the horizon and hop in your car, roll down the windows and take a drive through the scenic Raystown Lake Region and Happy Valley.

College visits give you the opportunity to explore the campus that you might be calling home for the next four years. Making the most of your visit and exploring both the campus and town will help you make the right decision. At Penn State, there is so much to explore both on campus and in the community. As a soon-to-be graduate of Penn State, I compiled a list of the things I think you should do during your Penn State college visit.

Once a year the borough of State College takes on a new identity, becoming the City of THON for the duration of THON Weekend. The ceremonial renaming has become a highly anticipated tradition for the past five years and will once again continue to spread the magic of THON Weekend from 6 p.m. on Friday, February 21st to 4 p.m. on Sunday, February 23rd, 2020.
