Oct 12 – Fall Fest

Allen St
Celebrate the season at Fall Fest in Downtown State College from 10 am to 3 pm. Tempest Productions will host crafts, stories, puppets, and dance on the 200 block of Allen Street. Join VanDance, TrioArts, and the Central PA Dance Workshop for a fun-filled day of creative expression and family-friendly activities.

October 18 & 19 – Edgar Allan Poe Speakeasy

Immerse yourself in the world of Edgar Allan Poe at the Pine Grove Hall Speakeasy. Is it a dream, a nightmare, or a night of eerie merriment? Master Poe himself will be there, alongside fortune tellers, shadowy demons, and Edgar Allan Poe-inspired cocktails. Seating for dinner starts at 5:30 pm, with performances at 7 pm. October 20 – Hometown Voices

October 25 & 26 – Shorts Festival

Looking for a variety of stories in one evening? The Shorts Festival presents a series of short plays for just $10 per night. Shows start at 7:30 pm—an ideal event for those who want quick bursts of entertainment and a night filled with fun.

October 27 – The Magic Cupcake

"The Magic Cupcake" is a lively English Panto written by Jon Vickers Jones, bringing a beloved British tradition to life with a unique twist. Known for its slapstick humor, outrageous characters, and interactive audience participation, panto is a fun-filled experience for all ages. Based on a well-known story, this whimsical production is packed with corny jokes, chase scenes, and unexpected role reversals, making it a hilarious, must-see event. With a cast of 20+, this family-friendly show promises laughter, excitement, and, of course, cupcakes!
