Community and Home Cooking are on the Menu at Amish Wedding Dinner Event

On Saturday, March 26, the Nittany Valley Amish Community will be holding their crowd-favorite Nittany Valley Benefit Dinner featuring the menu of a traditional Amish wedding.

The event is buffet style, and features the menu of a traditional Amish wedding, with dishes like pulled roasted chicken and filling, fresh-baked bread and homemade coleslaw, followed by just-churned ice cream and homemade pie (you can see the full menu here).

The seating is family-style with one hour time slots starting at 12:00 and running through 6:00 p.m. There is also takeout available if you aren’t comfortable dining in (or if you’d like to take more home to enjoy later!).

Tickets are only:

  • $20 per adult (18 & over)
  • $18 for seniors (65 & over)
  • $18 for children (11 – 17)
  • $7 for children (5 – 10)
  • Free for Children 4 & under when accompanied by adults.

The Nittany Valley Benefit Dinner proceeds help Happy Valley’s Amish parochial school system.
