• Santa, a Grinch, and a Snowman will promenade to the Millheim Hotel after the tree lighting. Santa and entourage will be stopping at businesses along the way to spread holiday cheer!

• Craft vendors will be set at the hotel and the ballroom

Boalsburg Hometown Christmas

Friends and neighbors gather on the diamond in Boalsburg around bonfires to sing carols, enjoy holiday music, drink hot chocolate to eagerly await the arrival of a firetruck with Santa! Santa will arrive just before 6 p.m.

Boalsburg’s Annual Hometown Christmas celebration takes place on December 2, from 10:00 to 3:00 at the Boalsburg Heritage Museum. Stop by the Museum to purchase homemade cookies, sample treats baked in the Summer Kitchen, listen to “Yuletide Tales,” and make Victorian ornaments. See a puppet show in the Barn and enjoy holiday music by talented high school students in the Cardinal Brass band.

Winter Craft Market

The Pennsylvania Guild of Craftsmen Central PA Chapter is pleased to announce the annual juried 2023 Winter Craft Market will be held December 2nd from 9:00 am-6:00pm at Nittany Valley Sports Centre. We have an amazing showcase of Pennsylvania artisans including painters, woodworkers, jewelers, potters, and photographers along with multimedia, fiber, paper, and glass artists. Our new location offers a generous amount of room between rows, well-lit exhibit area, all artisans in one room, free easy access parking, and concessions.

Join Columbus Chapel & Boal Mansion Museum for the annual Kristkindl Market on December 2, 11:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m. (to be held in the Boal Barn Playhouse & Great Room).

Join the Pennsylvania Military Museum on December 2nd and 3rd for an outdoor living history event that will showcase a timeline of military Holiday celebrations. Then, make your way into the museum to pose for a Selfie with Santa!

The encampment and Selfies with Santa will be open 10:00 am to 3:00 PM on Saturday and Sunday.

Comedian John Mulaney announced today he will be going back on tour with a new hour of stand up comedy including a show at Penn State’s Bryce Jordan Center on Sunday, December 3rd.
