The Queen, A Victorian Bed and Breakfast Celebrates 50 Years!
On June 16, 2024, The Queen, A Victorian Bed and Breakfast will be commemorating the 50th anniversary of its restoration adventure.
The Queen Anne style building was once a dilapidated, barely habitable shell of her former self. Nancy Noll and former husband purchased said home, in hopes of flipping it and buying land out in the country with the profit. Five years later, that husband left right on cue, but Nancy and son stayed. Nancy and current husband, Curtis Miller, painstaking and meticulously restored The Queen to her original splendor, resulting in the beautiful Victorian home we see today.
The Queen’s destiny as a bed and breakfast was realized 21 years later, when overflow from a neighboring business was sent Nancy’s way. It was then that a new vision for the property was unlocked, and Nancy stepped into the role of innkeeper.
