This week’s concert on Friday, June 28, will feature the Nittany Valley Wranglers, a group of singers, guitarists, bassists, and rhythm players who will entertain you with bluegrass and lots of good music. Concerts take place on the Lemont Village Green and start at 7:30 pm.

‘MADE in PA’ exhibition, new acquisitions and community events anchor the June 1 opening of the new 73,000-square-foot museum building

Bellefonte, PA—Over the last two years, Downtown Bellefonte Inc. (DBI) has worked with community members to facilitate a mural project in downtown Bellefonte. The project will come to fruition this spring with the installation of a large-scale mural at 123 S. Allegheny St., Bellefonte, PA 16823.

From expansive farmlands to lush mountain forests, from clear limestone streams to tree-lined neighborhoods, Happy Valley is rich in scenery. Local pastel artist Jennifer Shuey’s work is synonymous with the natural beauty of Happy Valley, capturing its scenic and agricultural lands and waters in a way that is both delicate and vibrant. We tapped into her deep appreciation for the area and her talent to gain insights into what she does best, plein air painting.
