Pennsylvania marketing and advertising agency Blink has announced the acquisition of Ethic Advertising Agency, located in Pittsburgh, PA. The addition of Ethic immediately extends Blink’s advertising and marketing footprint and client roster, and furthers the agency’s digital performance marketing, traditional media planning and buying, creative services and website development capabilities.

The State College Spikes’ 2025 schedule has been released, with a slate of 40 regular season home games starting with Opening Night at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on Friday, June 6 against the West Virginia Black Bears. The 2025 home schedule will run through Thursday, August 28, when the Spikes, the team with the best overall record in the Major League Baseball Draft League in 2024, face the defending MLB Draft League champion Williamsport Crosscutters.

New Musicals for a New Generation celebrates ten years of commissioned musicals that have been created through the New Musicals Initiative at Penn State. Featuring seven Musical Theatre students and a four-piece live band, this musical revue of scenes and songs is directed by John Simpkins, music directed by Connor Crotzer Scartascini, and choreographed by Natalie Malotke, Madison Palmer and Johnny Fenton. Selections from each of the previous nine years of commissioned musicals will be featured on the program. Cooper Wingert, historian and author of 10 books about the Civil War and the Underground Railroad, will present Slavery and the Underground Railroad in South Central Pennsylvania, Sunday, September 22, 2:00 p.m., at the American Philatelic Society, Bellefonte. Based on new archival research, this talk will illuminate how the Underground Railroad consisted of white and Black people whose actions were more open than many think.
