34th Annual Italian Food & Heritage Festival This Weekend at DelGrosso’s Park
If you enjoy delicious Italian food and fine Italian music, then it’s time to pull out your red, white, & green and join the DelGrosso Family this Sunday, September 22nd, for the 34th Annual Italian Food & Heritage Festival.
“We are proud of our family heritage and traditions. If there is one thing Italians love, it’s good food. This annual showcase of food, family, and fun is a celebration we look forward to every year,” says Carl Crider Jr., President of DelGrosso’s Park.
The Italian Food & Heritage Festival runs from 11:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, September 22, 2024. The event is sponsored by DelGrosso Foods, Inc., Breezeline, The Lung Disease Foundation of Central PA, Kish Bank, and Gloria Gates Care.
There’s something for every taste bud to enjoy! The Kitchens of DelGrosso will transform Pavilion #2 into an Italian Food Villa with multiple serving stations offering an array of delectable Italian dishes, including Homemade Lasagna, Grilled Chicken Alfredo, and more. Guest favorites such as Italian Wedding Soup and Pasta Fagioli will be available in the Green and White Tent. You can also enjoy DelGrosso’s Italian Sausage Sandwich with Peppers & Onions or a classic Meatball Sandwich in Pavilion #3. For dessert, indulge in Tiramisu, Rum Cake, and Pistachio Almond Cake, or try the delicious Pizza Fritte (Italian Donut) on the Midway. Pacifico Bakery will feature their specialty breads, including Pepperoni Bread and Bruschetta, while Mt. Carmel Church will offer their delicious Italian Pastries of Biscotti, Cannoli, and so much more. Wine sampling and bottle sales from Oak Spring and Twisted Vine Wineries will also be available for guests 21 and older with proper ID. Don’t miss out on Pappy’s Popcorn special Red and Green Kettle Popcorn, located near the Information Booth.
For the first time, we are thrilled to welcome Vittorio Di Carlo to our stage! A native of Italy's Apulia region, Vittorio discovered his passion for singing at a young age. After moving to Connecticut in 2010, he rekindled his love for music, captivating audiences with his Pop Opera/Crossover style. Known as "The Graceful Tenor," Vittorio will perform at 12:00 p.m. and 2:00 p.m. on the Main Stage. Guests can also enjoy the sounds of strolling accordionist Edwardo throughout the day.
