With 38 years of haunted tour experience and expertise behind them, Lincoln Caverns and Whisper Rocks, near Huntingdon, is busy with preparations for their greatest haunt ever, featuring 90 minutes of fun and terror in the caves, through the woods, and on the wagon!

“Pennsylvania’s ultimate haunted experience” provides scares, laughs, and even some cave education to thousands of visitors each year. Ghosts & Goblins Tours are open to the public Friday and Saturday, October 7^th through 29^th. From 11:00 AM till 5:00 PM on Saturday’s visitors enjoy an incredibly special one-hour tour through two beautiful crystal caverns, one featuring family-friend Ghosts & Goblins and one natural, with just the right mix of surprises and cave information along the way, followed by a family hayride. An optional self-guided walk through the woods features the popular Local Legends Trail. New narrated Legends are added each year! Friday and Saturday night tours leave every 20 minutes from 6:00 PM till 9:40 PM for the all haunted edition of Ghosts & Goblins, featuring a new spine-tingling cave tale, followed by the terrifying trail and hayride with more scares and surprises along the way.

Daytime and evening tours provide visitors with three unique experiences for the price of one. Advance tickets enable guests to choose their own tour time and avoid a wait upon arrival, Limited tickets are available at the door. Ghosts & Goblins is ideal for organized groups of all ages. Groups of fifteen or more, with reservations, receive great group rates on Friday night and Saturday daytime tours. Regular guided tours of the decorated and natural caverns are available 9:00 A.M. till 4:00 P.M. Sunday through Friday throughout October.

Each year Lincoln Caverns’ creative staff crafts a new script with new characters for the cavern portion of the tour, keeping the surprises coming even for repeat visitors. Costumed guides explain the wonders and highlights of a haunted Lincoln Caverns with spirited narrative, while supporting characters provide humor and horror along the way. During the day, an experienced interpreter greets visitors at Whisper Rocks to guide them through the natural beauty and splendor of Pennsylvania’s most beautiful cavern. For those looking for a totally horrifying experience, nighttime visitors will love the haunted trail and hayride meandering through the woods atop Warrior Ridge, when the legends come to life. In case of inclement weather, Whisper Rocks eerie black light adventure, with added surprises along the way, will replace the hayride.

Pavilion facilities and party rooms are also available for group outings and October birthday parties. Visitors of all ages will enjoy browsing Raystown Rocks, the area’s largest souvenir and gift shop, and panning for real gems in the authentic sluice.
