On Friday, September 30th from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m., Downtown Bellefonte will be celebrating the second to last Friday in the 'Fonte of the year. Bring your lawn chair and blankets and stop by the Centre County Courthouse to listen to live music by Granma Ben and check out many local vendors.

Granma Ben is an acoustic Americana trio that plays their originals, as well as some hand-picked, free-range, grass-fed covers. The band features Doug Irwin on vocals and guitar, Bryan Homan on bass, mandolin and vocals, and Brian Cleary on guitar and vocals.

With the weather finally cooling down, it's the best time to explore the unique shops and restaurants downtown. Vendors will be spread throughout the main street at Belle Mercantile, By A Thread, Magpie's Nest, Art a La Carte, the Bellefonte Art Museum, Thread Baby, Smith + Front, SpringBoard, and the Centre County Courthouse. Elody Gyekis will be sketching quick portraits for visitors and music will be provided by local singer/songwriter, Jim Colbert. Also visit pop-up vendors, Hannah Simon Art and Bloom Wild Flower Farm.

Find Fez Records at Belle Mercantile this Friday in the ‘Fonte. Browse their array of vinyl while listening to DJ Fez play some tunes on the turntable. They will be celebrating their store opening on October 1st.
