Move over vodka! Whiskey and bourbon cocktails are enjoying a boom in popularity nationwide, including Happy Valley. Whether you are a seasoned and nuanced aficionado or just starting to explore the complex character and flavor notes of whiskey and bourbon, these Happy Valley establishments are serving up traditional favorites alongside inventive cocktail options.

With recent new entrants to the local burger scene joining established favorites, Happy Valley provides burger connoisseurs with plenty of options to satisfy their cravings for the iconic menu item. The Happy Valley Adventure Bureau (HVAB) decided to stage a friendly competition among some of Happy Valley’s most popular restaurants, asking each to provide their best burger for a staff taste test. Burgers were rated based on flavor, quality, the bun and other components.

The first pizzeria in the United States opened in New York City in 1905. Today, there are more than 61,000 across the nation, making it fairly obvious that Americans have a love for pizza. Every day, 13 percent of the population eats some form of pizza, and we spend $38 billion annually satisfying our craving!
