Bellefonte, a community tucked between the Appalachian Mountains and the rolling farmland of Central Pennsylvania, makes an ideal destination for those living the laptop life.
Established in 1999, Happy Valley Vineyard & Winery has welcomed wine aficionados from around the country to taste its award-winning wines in its beautiful State College-located tasting room since 2013. However, in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, the vineyard’s owners have focused on serving the brand’s multitude of fans in other ways, going above and beyond to protect their loyal supporters in a time when restrictions can seem confusing and muddled — resulting in lax policies in other tasting rooms.
Happy Valley is known for exuding small-town charm while boasting big-city amenities, including an inspiring and innovative arts and performing arts scene. From the striking marquee of the beautifully restored and century-old Rowland Theatre in Philipsburg to colorful artwork that has transformed the facades of many buildings in Downtown State College, appreciation for the arts is outwardly evident.

Since its launch in October 2019, Happy Valley Agventures has helped to raise greater awareness about Centre County’s robust agricultural product. Now, it is even easier for those looking to plan their next Agventure to do so thanks to the placement of new colorful signage at Happy Valley Agventures’ destinations throughout the county.
