BAM is teaming up with The Makery this June, July & August for our themed summer program “The Art of Dreaming”. We all know dreams as the images, thoughts or feelings that occur during sleep. We all have them, but the experience is different for each of us. This summer, the museum will provide special activities and art works throughout several galleries to enhance your thoughts and feelings about dreams.

Happy Valley is a thriving destination for the performing arts and there’s perhaps no better showcase than the Central PA Theatre and Dance Fest. The event highlights the area’s vibrant professional and pre-professional theatre, dance, and performing arts groups through one immersive weekend.

A Celebration of Resilience – On the jazz side, we’ll celebrate Juneteenth by shinning the spotlight on Afro-American freedom and achievement through music with invited jazz musicians to our festival.

Rhoneymeade Fest returns on June 3-5 with three full days of live performances from local and national artists, DJs, visual art, food and drink. This year, the beautiful outdoor festival will have additional performances in iconic downtown State College locations — 3 Dots, Webster's, Zeno's, and Chumley's.

It makes sense that a festival full of people who like to laugh and people who enjoy making those people laugh would end up in Happy Valley.

The first ever Happy Valley XL Improv Festival will hit the streets of State College from May 19-21 with the goal of making Happy Valley a whole lot happier.

Starting with a 1932 National resonator guitar to her now-famous 1961 white Gibson Les Paul SG Custom. Confident and sanctified, she was one of first successful crossover artists from gospel to the mainstream music world.

Join the Pennsylvania Chamber Orchestra for a mighty season finale and “Celebrate Together” on Sunday, May 8th at 3pm. Celebrate Mother’s Day, celebrate graduation, and celebrate an incredible season of programming with this all-Beethoven program. Three very special soloists join the PCO to perform Beethoven’s “Triple” Concerto for Violin, Cello, and Piano in addition to the beloved Symphony 7. A livestream of the performance is also available.
