The State Theatre is a non-profit performing arts center dedicated to serving the Centre County region. It’s a mainstay of the State College community and a vibrant hub of local culture, featuring artists both homegrown and nationally renowned.

GODS TROMBONES is a collection of sermons in the African-American tradition. It was written and compiled by James Weldon Johnson in 1927. There have been many notable performances since then including in the film, FIVE in 1951.
