After three years, The Central PA 4thFest is elated to announce a full day of family friendly activities and events, and what will officially be the largest fireworks display in Pennsylvania.

(STATE COLLEGE, Pa.) – SpikesFest 2023 presented by Mount Nittany Health and media sponsors Seven Mountains Media and WTAJ is coming back to Medlar Field at Lubrano Park on Saturday, April 8 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m., headlining a unique doubleheader at the home of the State College Spikes and Penn State Baseball. The Spikes’ annual family event will lead up to Penn State Baseball’s 2 p.m. game against Delaware State on the same date, and admission is free for both SpikesFest and the Penn State game.

State College is close to three iconic trails and trail systems: Mount Nittany, Colyer Lake, and Shingletown Gap. Each offers their own level of challenge and different strokes of beauty, including shorelines, vistas and rugged state forest.

(STATE COLLEGE, Pa.) – The State College Spikes 2023 coaching staff has been rounded out as former MLB pitcher Jerome Williams, along with former MLB draft picks Tim Battle Jr. and Jesus Azuaje, will serve under manager Dave Trembley for the upcoming MLB Draft League season.

UNIVERSITY PARK — Global jazz fusion enhanced by sounds of the Middle East will be the musical flavor of the night with a performance by Amir ElSaffar and the Two Rivers Ensemble. The concert will feature vocals by Hamid Al-Saadi, the world’s foremost singer of Iraqi maqam.

UNIVERSITY PARK (Monday, March 6)—What inspires each of us to be our true selves? Québec City’s Flip Fabrique takes a physical approach to that question in “Muse” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, March 28, in Eisenhower Auditorium.

The annual powwow in State College features indigenous and First-Nation musicians and dancers from across the U.S. and Canada. All are welcome to the admission-free event, which is meant to preserve and share indigenous culture.
