The Nittany Antique Machinery Association

In the fall of 1975, a few Centre County farmers were in a casual conversation while attending an antique engine show. They began meeting on a regular basis at various locations. In January of 1975, the Nittany Antique Machinery Association was born. With their dedication and determination, the first Fall Show was held in September of the same year. Theirs was only a dream with the hopes that this would become an annual tradition.

The Spikes are starting their first season in the brand-new Major League Baseball Draft League, welcoming fans back to Medlar Field at Lubrano Park to see draft-eligible prospects from around the country competing with one another to make their big league dreams come true.

Spikes’ Single-Game Tickets On Sale Now!

The State College Spikes’ 2021 season, the first of the brand-new Major League Baseball Draft League, starts with Opening Night presented by PSECU on Monday, May 24. Single-game tickets for all 34 home games on the Spikes’ 2021 home schedule are now on sale by calling 814-272-1711, visiting the Spikes Ticket Office at Medlar Field at Lubrano Park, or logging on to StateCollegeSpikes.com.

HVAB announces move that will strengthen investment in destination marketing

The Happy Valley Adventure Bureau (HVAB) is making strategic changes that will better position the organization to drive local economic recovery efforts through leisure, sports and business visitation, as well as ensure that the county can capitalize on future tourism growth.

On May 10, the HVAB will move Visitor Center services and administrative offices from its current location at 800 E. Park Avenue to 131 South Fraser Street. Suite 3, in downtown State College. The HVAB Board of Directors approved the move at its March meeting.
